This is inspired by Florabella's Project 24. Although I am not using her Photoshop actions to process my photos, I am using the concept as my inspiration this year for creative photography. Basically, it's 24 themes per year that I have to complete. They don't have to be done in order and I can do as many photos as I want of each creative theme.
Here they are:
1. Hat or Scarf
2. Rule of Thirds
3. Street Scene
4. Happiness or Joy
5. Depth of Field
6. With a Prop
7. Girly or Feminine
8. Detail or Close-up
9. Black and White
10. Rain or Umbrella
11. Serious or Moody
12. Minimalism
13. Architecture
14. Low Light
15. Fun and Whimsy
16. Sunflare or Haze
17. Splash of red
18. Light and Shadow
19. Old or Retro
20. Leaves or Trees
21. Wide Angle
22. Still Life
23. Window Light
24. Sky or Clouds
It is now September 2013, and I would like to share some of the photos I have taken using the theme. Some of them don't look that great, but I would like to share anyway. Hope you enjoy. If you would like to start doing it and you have a blog, leave me a link to your blog at comment section, I would love to check out what you're doing.
#16 -- Sunflare or Haze
This was taken on our way back to the States above the clouds on a plane.
#14-- Low Light
I went through a phase after we came back from the Philippines where I was eating a lot of animal crackers. I don't know why, but I could not stop reaching for more, maybe it was the crunch or the taste? This Siamese one did get me to stop for a little bit cause I have never seen them before. LOL. I guess that gives you an idea that this is the very first jar or animal crackers I have ever had.
#17-- Splash of Red
These are dried Roses that my husband bought for me one day when he came home from work. I saved them because I don't get them often, and when I do get them, it is in the most random days that I just don't expect it. Yeah, we're weird like that. These are dried but they did not come apart.
#1--Hat or Scarf
Of course you can't tell, I was wearing a hat in this photo. It was one of those days when you just feel like doing a self portrait. Scarf is from walmart by the way, if you are interested.
#7--Girly or Feminine with a Splash of Red
One of those boring days. I know, the mirror is not clean and this shot is kind of grainy, which really doesn't bother me that much.
#8--Detail of Close-up with Splash of Red
This is a journal I made at one of our Ladies' Fellowship and Craft's night at church. A notebook, fabric, some flowers, tulle and a hot glue gun.
#3--Street Scene
Streets of Cape May, NJ where surfers roll with their skateboards on the streets
#24--Sky or Clouds
Cape May beach.
#20--Leaves or Trees
Leaming's Run Garden
#8--Detail or Close-up
Flower on the journal I had earlier. Playing with my extender tube.
#8--Detail or Close-up
A ring my mother in law gave me
#24--Sky or Clouds
Taken from the porch of the hotel we stayed at in Lancaster County.
#2--Rule of Thirds
#9--Black and White
Yours truly.
I hope you enjoyed them. Leave me a comment. Thanks for reading.
